Interdisciplinary Research Center for Humanities and Social Science
The Interdisciplinary Research Center for Humanities and Social Sciences focuses on several key areas, aiming to integrate the cross-disciplinary advantages of humanities, social sciences, and technological innovation to address the major needs of regional economic and social development as well as the challenges of globalization. These research areas include:
- Technology Finance: Leveraging finance as a traditional and advantageous industry in Hong Kong, the center explores the application of blockchain, big data, algorithmic trading, and other methods to continuously enrich the scenarios and business models of technology finance. It aims to develop new models of digital economy and financial growth while promoting innovation in Hong Kong's technology finance industry.
- Regional and Country Studies: Addressing fundamental, comprehensive, complex, and interdisciplinary issues related to specific countries or regions, the center conducts in-depth research on their humanities, geography, politics, economy, and society. The goal is to foster positive interactions between nations and the broader global community.
