Professor Qiang Pan-Hammarström is appointed as a Distinguished Visiting Professor and a member of the International Advisory Committee of our Institute.

Professor Pan-Hammarström is an internationally recognized immunologist and currently serves on the Nobel Committee. She is Professor of Immunology at Karolinska Institutet and a principal investigator at the Center for Infectious Medicine, where she leads cutting-edge research on human B-cell biology, antibody responses, and immune deficiencies.

Her research focuses on the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying humoral immunity, with particular emphasis on B-cell development, antibody diversification, and immune dysregulation in infectious and autoimmune diseases. Through a combination of clinical samples and advanced immunological technologies, her work aims to translate fundamental discoveries into diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.

To date, Professor Pan-Hammarström has published extensively in leading international journals and is widely regarded as a leading authority in human immunology, with significant contributions to both basic science and translational medicine.
